I am Chris Carthy.

I believe in helping clients make the most of their inner resources and potential, in order to improve the quality of their lives.

I am convinced that success is a journey, not a destination and if you have setbacks or fall down in life that it is possible to pick yourself up and carry the lessons forward. Life is not a spectator's sport, absorb what is useful and that which helps you get more from life.

To create truly effective personal development and change, I draw from the very best sources, principals and practises.

Over the course of many experiences, projects, ventures, studies and adventures, I have learned how to get results and balance life. I have learnt that there is no substitute for experience. Just like my clients I am a "work in progress", and continually invest in the key components that comprise my "Life Frame": Mind, Body, Emotions, Career, Financial, Relationships and Rest, Exercise and Relaxation. I continually seek ways to develop these keys areas for myself and clients, on a quest for the best insights and actions for a better life.

I consider it important to share the principals and practices that work in the real world under varied conditions, however extreme.

Following a long association with, and a love of France, I have based my CBT practise in Calvados, near Pont L'Eveque and close to Deauville/Trouville where I live with my French born wife. I also provide consultations over the Internet via Skype and telephone sessions and work with clients both in France and the UK.

I work closely with clients in a constructive way that allows for the facilitation of effective solutions to problems and issues, and the creation of new choices, possibilities and opportunities.

I maintain an overarching belief in the development of human potential and my interventions draw on neurological, linguistic and cognitive sciences and fuse together different behavioural theories.
